Psychological Assessments and treatment

Patrick provides psychological assessment and treatment to individuals across all ages. His individual therapy sessions begin with an initial assessment, followed by a personalised treatment plan addressing your specific needs and concerns. Patrick is committed to helping you achieve your mental health goals through a supportive and collaborative approach.

Psychological Assessment and Treatment services are available both "In Person" and via "Telehealth". 

Patrick also offers limited home visits for follow up treatment consultations.

Writing

Psychometric testing

Psychometric testing (commonly known as IQ testing) may be helpful to identify specific learning disorders, intellectual disabilities or giftedness.  Testing is often also necessary to identify and formally diagnose neurodevelopmental disorders such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Autism Spectrum Disorder.

 

Cognitive and Academic psychometric testing is offered for individuals aged 6 years old and above.

Patrick is qualified to administer, score and interpret the Weschler Intelligence Scale For Children: 5th Edition (WISC-V), the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale: Fourth Edition (WAIS-IV), the Wechsler Individual Achievement Test: Third Edition (WIAT-III), and Adaptive Behaviour Assessment System: Third Edition (ABAS- 3).

 

Patrick also offers ADHD testing for both children and adults using Conners Fourth Edition (Connors -4) and Conners Adult ADHD Rating Scale 2nd Edition (CAARS-2).

The testing process includes an initial interview, tests administration, scoring, a report, and a final debrief appointment to discuss results and recommendations.

Psychometric Testing services are available only "In Person".

Clinical Supervision

Patrick is a Board-Approved Supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia. He has provided supervision for Provisional Psychologist and students completing their Master of Clinical Psychology as they completed their external clinical placements at St George Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services.   He has also provided supervision for Registered Psychologist completing their Clinical Registrar program. 

 

He has capacity to provide supervision for Provisional Psychologist following completion of their Master of Professional Psychology Degree (5+1 pathway).

 

Patrick is experienced to provide clinical supervision in Child & Adolescent mental health, as well as  assessment and treatment through a Cognitive Behavioural Framework.
